1. About Us

MySkyway LLC ("MySkyway," "we," "us," or "our") provides residential and commercial appliance diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and parts replacement services in San Diego County, California.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all services provided by MySkyway, your use of our website, and any interactions with our team. By booking or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website.

2. Services Offered

2.1 Appliance Types

We service the following appliances:

  • Refrigerators
  • Washing machines
  • Dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Ovens
  • Stoves and ranges
  • Cooktops
  • Microwaves

We do not service:

  • Appliance installations
  • Garbage disposals
  • Appliance disposals

2.2 Service Types

  • Diagnostic visits
  • Appliance repairs
  • Maintenance and tune-ups
  • Parts replacement
  • Same-day or emergency service (subject to availability)

2.3 Service Area

We operate throughout San Diego County, including but not limited to:

Downtown, Hillcrest, North Park, South Park, Mission Valley, La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, Point Loma, Del Mar, Mira Mesa, Scripps Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Valley, El Cajon, and Chula Vista.

Service availability depends on technician schedules and part availability.

3. Scheduling & Appointments

Appointments can be requested via phone, website, or email.

Appointment windows are estimates, not guaranteed arrival times.

Emergency or same-day service is not guaranteed and depends on availability.

We typically book up to one week in advance.

If the customer is a tenant, the tenant must be present during service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1 Diagnostic Fee

A $59 diagnostic fee is charged for diagnostic visits.

The diagnostic fee is waived if you proceed with a repair during the same service flow.

4.2 Repairs & Minimum Charges

Repair pricing is provided after diagnosis.

A minimum service charge of $200 applies to repairs.

Prices cover labor and parts only.

4.3 Returns & Refunds

Payments made for parts are non-refundable once the parts have been ordered or installed, regardless of the outcome of the repair.

4.4 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We do not require deposits.

Accepted payment methods include cash, checks, and credit or debit cards.

Failure to pay may result in service refusal or future service denial.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations: Diagnostic or service fees are non-refundable once an appointment is booked.

Rescheduling: Rescheduling is free if requested before the appointment time.

No-Shows: Missed appointments without notice forfeit any service or diagnostic fees paid.

6. Warranty & Guarantees

6.1 Repair Warranty

We provide a 90-day warranty on repairs for the specific issue serviced.

The warranty covers labor and installed parts related to that repair only.

6.2 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Unrelated appliance failures
  • Pre-existing or undisclosed issues
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Customer-supplied parts
  • Appliances moved, altered, or serviced by others after our work
  • Electrical, plumbing, or structural issues outside the appliance

We do not guarantee that an appliance can or will be fully restored to like-new condition.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe, clear access to the appliance
  • Ensure appliances are clean and free of hazards
  • Disclose known issues, prior repairs, and appliance history
  • Secure pets and ensure a safe working environment

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe.

8. Parts & Materials

Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or compatible equivalents.

Removed or replaced parts become our property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Manufacturer warranties apply only where provided by the manufacturer.

9. Liability Limitations

To the maximum extent permitted by California law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including food loss, loss of use, or property damage not caused by our gross negligence.
  • We are not responsible for failures caused by pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, or appliance age.
  • Delays or failures due to events beyond our control (including supply chain issues, weather, or manufacturer delays) are not our liability.

10. Refusal or Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:

  • Non-payment
  • Abusive or threatening behavior
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Misrepresentation of appliance condition

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by California law.

Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved informally.

Unresolved disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Diego County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Each party is responsible for its own legal costs unless otherwise required by law.
